Following the stage reveal of this year’s much anticipated Mużika Mużika, final preparations are underway for the show to kick off next Thursday.

Minister for the Arts Owen Bonnici visited MFCC and met with the musicians, singers, and organisers of this prestigious festival. “For the third year, we will celebrate the Maltese song and our native language through 20 original songs in Maltese.”

“How wonderful it is to see these artists and organisers full of energy and enthusiasm, we should really feel proud, with our Maltese talent,” he added.

The Chairman of Festivals Malta, Aaron Zahra stressed how the work for Mużika Mużika is currently in full swing, with technicians and artists spending long hours at the MFCC working on the final preparations and rehearsing together with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra.

He explained that this is a beautiful week where one can appreciate all the fruits of the labour that has gone into organising this event.

“I encourage the Maltese people to eagerly follow this festival and support the local artists who will take part with wonderful songs during this year’s edition, which we promise to offer to our followers the greatest show to the numerous viewers and to those who will be with us in the hall,” he said.

Mużika Mużika will take place on Thursday 23rd, Friday 24th and Saturday 25th March at the MFCC of Qali.

The three evenings of the festival will also be broadcast live on Television Malta. For more information and for tickets visit muzikamuzika.mt.
