‘This Is It’ Rising Star Dj’s Career Explodes In Less Than A Year
Chelsea Siala, also known as Velveteen DJ, is just 18 years old and her career is skyrocketing, and it hasn’t even been a year yet.
“I got my first gig on 27th December (2024) and since then it’s been, I mean, a dream.”
Right after Chelsea’s first ever gig, she was approached to play in Macedonia on New Years Eve and was hitting the decks just five days later.
With sets played at Liquid, Gianpula, Tigullio and even Glitch Festival Malta’s club series on 2nd August, her talent behind the decks has not gone unnoticed.
“Once I started deejaying and people started telling me that I actually have a future in it, I was like, okay this is it, this is happening now.”
Macedonia isn’t the only country that was graced with Velveteen’s presence. In May, Chelsea was approached to play in Munich, Germany.
“My end goal would definitely be to spend my life making music,” She said in an artist spotlight video posted by @insynkspaces.
“I would say to myself definitely stop doubting yourself too much, once you start creating you never want to stop.”
This might be the first time you’ve heard of her, but it definitely won’t be the last.
