UPDATED: Today’s Summer Daze Festival Moved To Uno And Opens At 7pm Following Strong Wind Warning

Summer Daze Festival has been moved to UNO after health and safety officials recommended postponing the event due to strong winds.

The event will now begin at 7pm, at UNO, and will kick off with sets by Daniel Blade in the Main Room and Mamo in Treehaus.

The opening of Day Two of Summer Daze Malta Festival has been postponed by hours after strong winds threatened to throw the event into disarray.

“According to the current wind report and forecast for the next few hours, our health and safety officers have informed us that we need to postpone the opening hours of the event till 9pm. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but your safety is our priority! Watch this space for more updates!” the organiser said in an official statement.

The stage was set to open at 4pm today in Ta’ Qali, but will now open at 9pm

While details are still scarce, superstar names such as Green Velvet and Paul Kalkbrenner will still be taking the stage tonight ahead of tomorrow’s massive line-up.
