WATCH: Cisk’s 90th Ends With A Bang! Some Of Malta’s Biggest Acts And Their Special Guests Closed Off Beer Fest In Epic Fashion
Malta’s biggest music and beer festival came to a wrap last Saturday, but not before some of the biggest names on the island took to the stage to rock it one more time.
16, 000 people flocked to Ta Qali to celebrate Cisk’s 90th-anniversary and the closing of Malta’s Beer Fest and from what we’ve gathered below, it looked like one hell of a night.
Kicking off the evening was X factor sensation Nicole Frendo with a mesmerising performance on the mainstage.
Next was none other than Ira Losco who brought a couple of friends with her to perform throughout the night…
…including Michela Pace doing a cover of ‘Shallow’.
…and Owen Leuellen performing their X factor hit ‘Hey Now’.
But then Ira shocked the crowd when she interrupted her set to bring on Freddie Portelli for a duet of his classic ‘Mur Ħallini’.
Over on the other side of the festival, people were rocking out at the Alternative Stage which attracted its own crowd of moshers and punk rockers for a completely different, yet equally fun, night of music.
Beesqueeze crowd-surfed their way throughout the night.
Whilst Bila brought their unique rendition of hardcore punk to the masses.
And last, but not least, BNI were back once again to close off the Beer Fest with their positive vibes, energy and punk pits.
Thank you Beer Fest for once again giving us the best 10 days of summer, see you all next year!
