The Ekklesia Sisters have just dropped a song with popular Maltese singer Franklin Calleja to raise funds for their new daycare centre in Sliema.

The song ‘‘Ninni Gesu Bambin’’ has already racked up over 7,000 views in just a matter of days.

‘‘The message of the song is that the infant Jesus is the centre of the feast of Christmas!’’

The sisters initially met Franklin Calleja in 2015 when they participated in the Eurovision Song Contest – and since then they have remained in touch.

‘‘Besides being a very talented singer with an awesome vocal range and a beautiful, expressive voice, Franklin is a person with a heart of gold.’’

When Franklin Calleja heard that the Creche in Sliema was going to be converted into a Daycare Centre, he came up with the idea of the song as a fund-raiser.

‘‘He sought out all the sponsors himself and worked extremely hard to see his dream accomplished.’’

We are so happy that this project finally came together and we’re so excited to see what the Ekklesia Sister can come up with next.
