WATCH: Gaia Drops Raw And Emotional Breakup Music Video For Valentine’s Day
Dressed in red and wearing her emotions on her sleeve, Gaia Cauchi treated her fans on Valentine’s Day with a raw music video to accompany the release of her first track of the year, Message.
The music video, much like the song itself, is stripped down and features just Gaia performing, with her emotions and charisma enough to propel the track forward.
Apart from a few outfit changes and some swishing in a bathtub, the music video remains true to the simplistic nature of the song with little theatrics to distract the viewer from the message of the song. Instead, a spotlight is placed on the young Maltese singer’s incredible voice and vocal range, which is both captivating and inspiring.

The heartfelt, emotional track draws on Gaia’s own personal experience with breakups and heartache which translates to an authentic and raw performance strong enough to not warrant further distractions to the scenes.
And the track is already being labelled as the young musician’s best work to date with many relating to the lyrics of the track, especially on Valentine’s Day, when the music video was released.
