Snakes, poison, hitmen, and a whole lot of glitter. Those are the main themes of Ira Losco’s new music video for her single ‘Bad Habits’.

In what is basically the extended trailer for a new action movie, the video follows a group of hitmen – The Master, The Vindicator, and The Predator – as the try to annihilate the ‘good girl gone bad’. Led by The Sinner, they follow Ira as they tirelessly attempt to defeat her. She persists, and is victorious, until The Sinner steps in and poisons her. Bitch.

Once captured, the girl is tested on and turned into ‘The Hybrid’. A snake/human/robot mixture that is played in a museum for all to visit. To be honest, we’re a bit confused by the whole thing but we’d totally watch this if it was a full length movie. Your move, Ira.

The Hybrid

The video was directed by Steven Levi Vella and Matthew Muscat Drago and is suuppperrr 80s. Think MK Ultra, Knight Rider, Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and Studio 54. It also includes a very cinematic intro and outro featuring local actor Joe Depasquale, who was in the previous music video, Hey Now.

This is the sixth single off of her iconic double album ‘No Sinner, No Saint’. Ira mentioned in one of her Facebook posts that she has six other releases from ’No Sinner No Saint’ planned in the coming months which will be accompanied by music videos.
