A Maltese DJ duo were left speechless after one of the most recognised pioneers of dance music in the world, John Digweed, dropped a remix of their track at Invisible Wind Factory in Liverpool – and the crowd loved it.

“We got the good news early yesterday morning when the label owner reached out to us stating that one of the tracks on our upcoming EP just got played by John Digweed, who is quite the innovator in the underground scene,” said Ryan Cachia and Steve Vella from Undefined.

“We were left rather speechless to be honest! We are feeling fantastic especially considering that this happened ahead of our first ever release and that the track was played by an artist that we look up to so much!” they said.

Digweed had gotten his hands on a Steve Parry Remix of Undefined’s track Incognito. What’s interesting is that neither Undefined’s track nor the remix have been officially released yet.

“We could say that it’s safe to assume that he liked the Steve Parry Remix since he played it during quite a good set! Our EP will be released within the next few months on the Irish Label – Republik Music,” they said.

“This is something we’ve been dreaming about for years! News like this urges us to keep on making music and to further develop our sound. We have much more to learn, BUT we are grateful that smalltime names such as ourselves are given these kind of opportunities in today’s talent-packed world,” they ended.
