Watch: Local Company ‘Dutch Studios’ Creates Campaign For Defected’s Ushuaïa Ibiza Events
Dutch Studios, spearheaded by co-founders Mike Bonello Ghio and Jeremy Debattista, recently undertook the task of producing the commercial campaign for Defected’s Ushuaïa Ibiza events for this summer.
Defected will be taking over Ushuaïa every Tuesday throughout the summer and Dutch Studios together with head of event promo Nick Mizzi worked on the “What’s Your Excuse” project for this incredible collaboration.

Head of social at Ushuaïa Michele Agius was also involved in some of the meetings for the production of the project.
The campaign was filmed in a gruelling 13-hour day across four different locations.
This was done with the aim of creating visuals to make it seem like it was filmed beyond Malta’s shores.
The fantastic team included director and DP Mike Bonello Ghio, set designer and grip Benji Zammit, makeup artist Lyanne Sawyer, and talent from Island Talent Malta and Kate De Cesare with all aspects of post production meticulously handled by Jeremy Debattista.
