From busking on Australia's streets to global fame

Popular Maltese-Australian songstress Tash Sultana has seen her star rising rapidly in 2017, and her recent spot on Rolling Stone's website surely isn't going to hurt. Viewed over 66,000 times, Tash Sultana can be seen in a buoyant and intimate video performing her tracks "Jungle" and "Notion".

After starting out playing her guitar in the streets of Melbourne, busking her way around the city, she soon became a viral hit due to her Youtube videos.

She's since toured Australia, New Zealand, as well as Europe. She even had a gig set for Malta last September, but had to cancel it at the last moment, to the disappointment of her local fans.

However, her rise to fame has been followed closely by her strong fanbase, both in Australia and Malta as well as the rest of the world, as she's worked her way up through sheer talent and dedication.

And her unique ability to use loop pedals to enhance her music has helped her stand out among the other singer-songwriters in the industry.
