Ever since Parisian-based, electronic dance house Cercle livestreamed an electronic set straight from the glorious Tal-Mixta cave in Gozo, the landscapes of the Maltese islands have become a popular location for these unique, lonely sets popular all around the world.

Now, riding the wave of DJs playing lonely sets against stunning backdrops, none other than Tenishia came in with a 40-minute set at Saint Mary’s Tower over on Comino.

As the sun began to set on the Maltese islands, Tenishia took to the tower’s rooftop for a set with a backdrop many local artists would kill to have.

The Maltese DJ with a massive international name for himself is the latest – and luckiest – of musicians to perform at an exclusive venue with only him and mother nature in sight.

Nothing but good vibes come from Tenishia’s playlist, and his 40-minute house medley is both trance-like and hypnotic. The video highlights the more peaceful and tranquil side of the Maltese islands, something most people don’t get to see nowadays… especially when it comes to Comino in summer.

These types of outdoor sets have become increasingly popular over the years thanks to livestreaming and we wouldn’t be surprised if Malta, being a hotspot for international DJs, sees more of them in the future.

Posting about the experience on Facebook and saying how much of an honour it was for him to represent the country and be chosen for the ethereal set, Tenishia hinted that he’ll be hosting another livestream on the outskirts of Mdina next month… but this time, you can be there!
