WATCH: The Island’s Finest Voices Gear Up For Exclusive Elton John Tribute Concert At Malta’s Breathtaking National Library
An exclusive and intimate concert in tribute to Sir Elton John is taking place later this month featuring fresh and innovative musical interpretations of all the classics, performed by Malta’s finest voices in a super unique venue.
A limited audience will be treated to some fresh music arrangements from Elton John’s extensive repertoire of all-time hits on the 25th, 26th, 27th of October…
…and it’s all happening at a rather unusual and super unique venue, the National Library of Malta.
Your Song, organised by new artistic enterprise Revamp Malta, will feature some of the island’s finest musicians to tackle Elton John’s ballads including Chiara Siracusa, Claudia Faniello, Dorothy Bezzina, Gianluca Bezzina, Raquela Dalli Gonzi, Ludwig Galea, and Paul Bezzina, together with guest harpist Jacob Portelli.
It will also be hosted by versatile actress and writer, Jo Caruana, surely making it a worthy tribute spanning five decades of musical genius.

The music arrangements for the evening will be lead by Edward Mifsud, who will bring his own interpretation of the music to the magnificent Reading Hall of the National Library.
“Our setlist has been uniquely re-imagined to involve a 10-piece string orchestra and a rhythm section supporting a number of accomplished and established vocalists. This pairs beautifully with the magnificent setting we chose to perform in,” he told Lovin Malta.
“Apart from its great acoustics, the elegant Reading Hall complements the musical arrangements we are so excited to share with our audience. Adapting music that is so well-carved into the public consciousness to a very different setting proved to be quite a challenge. However, the bigger the challenge, the more rewarding it will be to finally listen to the arrangements played live.”
With less than a month until the walls of the National Library echo with the sounds of piano man and tiny dancer, tickets for some of the nights have already sold out.
