Sound Salon & G7 are teaming up with radio titans Vibe FM for an incredible summer closing party at Café Del Mar, with special guest DJ James Hype
Summer can now officially end where it started – with Vibe On Tour.
There aren’t many who can compare to what Sound Salon & G7 did this summer when it comes to hosting big parties with even bigger musical acts.
For almost every Friday night of this summer, Gianpula Main Room was packed to the brim with huge acts, pumped up partygoers, and music fans alike.
With just one last bash this summer before we say goodbye to our beloved weekly go-to, it’s time to look back at 15 epic Fridays that defined Malta’s hottest months.
Sound Salon & G7 raised the bar this year, and on several occasions brought in some major international acts that we could never have imagined, including the man behind the summer hit Piece Of Your Mind, Meduza, and drum and bass badasses, Rudimental.
Other nights were just as spectacular, with local superstars in attendance including Ira Losco, Red Electrick, The Travellers, Michela Pace and Nicole Frendo.
Yes, Sound Salon and G7 had an event for everyone this year.
Whether you were in it for the party, there to see your favourite musical act, or just wanted to have a good time, you knew that Gianpula Main Room was the place to be over the weekend.
There was even an evening dedicated to the all-time classics and another to the noughties.
Sound Salon and G7 even booked a brass band to perform one evening, and trust me, it was even more lit than it sounds…
Friday nights at Gianpula Mainroom were always more than party. For many, it became a habit and those who possessed a membership card could be seen there on the regular.
But you know what they say, all good things must come to an end…
…but not before one last get down.
Sound Salon & G7’s last event will be their most extravagant of the summer and will feature one of the biggest names around…. none other than the legendary James Hype.
Summer will bow out to the tunes of the English DJ, including his signature songs ‘More Than Friends’ and ‘No Drama’.
