X Factor Malta singer Miriana Conte left her girl band 4th Line earlier this summer but once again found herself singing alongside others in an LGBT-pride inspired music video released this week.

The music video for the song Roll The Dice, penned by Etienne Micallef, was released on Wednesday. It features Miriana and lots of other well known performers including Claudia Faniello and her mother Anna, Janice Mangion and local drag superstar Tolqueen.

Dedicated to anyone who ever felt like an outcast, the song pays tribute to gay pride and features some same-sex kissing at the end, including a shot of Miriana and her partner.

Last June, Miriana took to Facebook to announce her decision to leave the girl group 4th Line, which was put together on last year’s season of X Factor Malta.

“As probably some of you already may know, after thinking a lot, I made a decision, and I am no longer a member of 4th line,” she said.

“This is not due to my entry as a solo artist for the next season of X Factor, but for other personal reasons and other unforeseen circumstances. It was one hell of a ride and an experience that I will never forget. I would like to thank you all for all the support given to the group throughout this journey, you are all amazing,” she added.

And just like that we also had a confirmation that Miriana will be back on this year’s edition of X Factor Malta, which already seems to have another vocal powerhouse already there in the form of Destiny.
