X-factor Malta’s boot camp has already thrown up some surprises, with last week’s show-stealing Ema Vella being placed in the groups.
A raw diamond, Ema belted out a powerful rendition of Etta James’ soul classic ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’, in her audition which stunned judges.
Even though it was just the first round, many commenters were already tipping Ema to go all the way and win the competition.
Last year, the groups didn’t fare so well in the competition, prompting judge Alexandra Alden’s iconic “really?” after Xtreme and 4th Line were sent home in a public vote in week two of the live shows.
Joining Ema, is Demi Galea, Chanelle Zarb, and Meaghan Caruana. The quartet certainly have what it takes to challenge for the top prize!
Boot-camp sees the many ‘yesses’ dished out during the audition stages dwindle to final few. A gruelling a few days for contests, each person has to use the little time they have to stand out and impress the judges.
