Yesterday we asked our readers to vote for the performer who they think deserve to win at tonight's Malta Eurovision Song Contest. The results are in, and three gorgeous songs are the nation's favourite so far.

Let's have a look at the trio of faves, and why they totally deserve to wear the MESC2017 crown.

1. Claudia Faniello – Breathlessly

Faniello is MESC royalty. Malta loves this woman and there are so many reasons why. Let's talk about this year's song though – wow! Faniello's voice has never sounded so great, so mature, and so confident. It's one of those ballads that you know you're going to be listening to long after all the festivities and contests are over. It's no wonder she is the leader in our poll.

2. Brooke Borg – Unstoppable

Coming in with the second most votes is Brooke Borg, who really does have what it takes to be a Eurovision star. She's gorgeous, she's always perfectly styled, and she really can sing. Her song packs a powerful punch, and we can totally understand why audiences are rooting for it. It's a textbook Eurovision anthem.

3. Janice Mangion: Kewkba

Our readers, as well as countless YouTube viewers, are cheering on this Maltese-language song. Mangion came in third on our poll, and with good reason. She sounds great and with her sparkling personality we really do think the whole nation is behind her. Let's see if a victory is written in the stars for her.

We'd like to wish these three awesome performers and all the rest of the contestants the very best of luck for tonight's contest. Make sure you stay tuned for more updates from us on tonight's festivities!
