Joy Gospel Singers are getting ready for their upcoming concert on 25th March, with the help of the St Jeanne Antide Foundation, which is known for its impactful social solidarity services aimed at helping individuals and families facing complex life challenges.

The proceeds from the concert will be donated towards running these services.

Joy Gospel Singers, under the musical direction of Michelle Marie Abela, will present a program of traditional, spiritual and contemporary gospel songs.

The performance will feature an uplifting blend of their original interpretation of gospel songs, including the participation of the children’s choir led by Phylisienne Brincat and the young musicians of the Swieqi Academy Orchestra, under the direction of Kristina Dimic.

Local singer Chris Grech will also join the Joy Gospel Singers in the concert to entertain the audience with his rock-style voice.

The St Jeanne Antide Foundation is committed to supporting individuals and families facing complex life challenges, and the foundation’s services include the Social Volunteering program, SOAR – a service run by trained and mentored survivors of domestic violence, and LWIEN – a service that provides professional consultancies to overwhelmed family caregivers of mentally ill persons.

This is the third time that St Jeanne Antide Foundation has teamed up with Joy Gospel Singers through a fundraising concert. The concert will be held at the Sacred Heart School Auditorium in San Ġiljan. The public is encouraged to make early bookings through the portal sacredheartpta.com, generously made available for this event by the Sacred Heart School.
