It’s easy to feel like Malta is changing rapidly, but a nearly completed set of photos comparing Malta to its past self really drives the point home. In ‘Yesteryear and Today’ by Joe and Carmen Scicluna, images of towns and hotspots around the Maltese islands are sat side-by-side with their contemporary images, and it makes for very compelling viewing.

The couple have set out to compare 300 sites around Malta – and they’ve just released the penultimate number 299 this week, meaning the series is about to come to an end any day now.
