Stress levels are at max, you’ve been longing to wind down and dance the night away, laugh hard and make memories.

If that sounds familiar, then the next OFFLINE WKND festival, organized by Malta’s own YOU.mt, could be just the tonic you need.

Join the upcoming edition from 24th to 26th March at the Paradise Bay resort, Ċirkewwa.

The first edition was held at Comino in April 2019, making use of the legendary hotel right before it was closed down permanently ahead of a new project, and it proved to be such a success that another festival was held in winter of the same year.

Some still claim that these are amongst the best and memorable festivals held on our sun-kissed islands.

“Nowadays it has become so easy to get lost in the real world that we call adulthood. We know all too well how stressful life can get and how common it is to ignore the signs that our minds need a well-deserved break,”  YOU.mt founder Franco Vella told Lovin Malta.

Vella believes that Offline WKND is more than just a festival, but rather an “intimate weekend gathering for around 300 underground music lovers in unique locations, away from the everyday noise”.

“Unlike a one-night event, living together for a weekend creates a special energy and connection between all those attending,” Vella continued, rather enticingly.

The upcoming edition will feature a booming sound system setup by Island Rockers and a solid DJ line-up, including foreign artists Fumiya Tanaka and youandewan.

The German duo Just Emma, who are well known in the downtempo genre and played in festivals like Burning Man, Fusion & Garbicz, will also be performing some improvised sets at the festival. Local DJs over the weekend include Ben & Macelli, Bengy, Brian James, Louie G, Luca Cordina, MATO and Owen Jay.
