If you love wine – and you’ve got €120 to splurge on an amazing night – you probably don’t want to miss this impressive degustation being hosted by top Maltese chef Marvin Gauci.

He has brought together Malta’s top wine distributors to showcase 10 different wines – all from different countries – each paired by a dish “perfectly constructed to match each glass”. Taking diners on a tasting tour from Malta to California, the wine selection has inspired the event’s name: Around the World: Wine Degustation.

The event is being held at Tarragon Restaurant in St Paul’s Bay and will be curated by Chief Sommelier of Caviar & Bull Budapest, Victoria Evans. She will be talking patrons through the different wines which have been selected by Malta’s top wine distributors, including: FBIC, P Cutajar, Max Castania, Attard & Co., Charles Grech, Red October, Mirachem, Cassar Camilleri, Francis Busuttil and Meridiana.
