Maltese media company Shadeena are celebrating a year of success by offering a free music video to any musician or a band out there, and they announced this competition in the most weirdly awesome way.

The video runs less than two minutes but is jam packed with highlight moments thanks to the crazy host’s antics over what looks like a backdrop straight from a 1980s instructional VHS tape.

In between the beautiful huge popped collar and the made-up genres (minimalist grunge choir sounds amazing, though), it’s safe to say many people were very impressed with Shadeena’s short but hilarious clip, which has already amassed more than 1,500 views in less than a day.

If you’re a musician and want the crazy guys over at Shadeena to direct a music video (with Samuel Sultana at the helm), all you have to do is send in a two minute video pitch to [email protected] by 21st May. Be sure to include your concept, visual style, a general marketing plan and of course why you think you should be chosen, and you too could be in the chance of winning a music video!

Just be prepared to have a concept which can convince the very strict judging panel… which apparently includes an actual pastizz.
