After Heavily Traumatised Cara And Finn Brought In, MSPCA Appeals For Urgent Information

The MSPCA has urged the public for any urgent information it might have in relation to two traumatised dogs which were recently brought into their care.

Cara and Finn were both brought in under serious shock after being found in Siġġiewi – and both dogs are clearly suffering from a clear traumatic past.

“Cara was pregnant when she got hit – the trauma induced her Labour. She was not able to look after her puppies – they needed to be sent to a bottle feeder, and unfortunately, only two puppies survived,” MSPCA told Lovin Malta.

A reel posted by the abandoned animals sanctuary garnered over 50,000 views in just a couple of days, as the heartbreaking scenes of the two dogs touched the hearts of many.

“A couple of days after Cara was found, Finn was also picked up from the same area. Cara’s puppies have a striking resemblance to Finn. We are suspecting that these two dogs came from the same place.”

“Their past trauma has succumbed them to severe fear, anxiety, and depression.”

The MSPCA has now put up an urgent appeal for information, in hopes of finding out who the dogs initially belonged to so that reports can be made.

“We need the public to be aware that these cases are being looked into and people just can’t keep getting away with this!”

“We are trying to get this shared as much as possible in the hope that someone may come forward,” a representative said, assuring that strict confidentiality is assured.

Meanwhile, the two puppies which are currently being cared for by a local bottle feeder are in good health – and soon enough, the MPSCA will open applications and start the vetting process for prospective adoptees.

If you know anything that could be useful in relation to this case, don’t hesitate to get in touch with MSPCA.
