Animal Activists Ask For Donations For Dog Haven
Animal activists Joanna Mallia and Althea Galea are asking for financial help to build a “haven” for abandoned dogs until they can find a new home.
The dogs are currently sheltered on the property of an individual, who wishes for anonymity. While the activists are very grateful for the help, changes to this property are needed to guarantee the safety of these dogs.
They said that dog pens are necessary for the wellbeing of these dogs but are very costly – around €3,000. Besides the pens, more things are needed, such as fences to keep the dogs from jumping. The total costs are estimated at around €5,000.
Mallia took to Facebook to ask for the public’s help for these costs, with donations. She said that once the project is ready, they will upload the receipts and start working on a cat haven.You can help home these dogs by sending a donation either on BOV or Revolut via 79703557.
