A litter of tal-fenek (mixed breed) puppies were saved yesterday from the side of a busy main road in Mellieħa, where cars speed by at all hours.

The MSPCA confirmed that the puppies, just around five weeks old, are now safe in their care after it became too dangerous to leave them in the area.

While they’re now out of harm’s way, the puppies still need lots of care and support as they grow.

The puppies are in need of a mother and baby wet food and puppy dry food to support their development.

If anyone is looking for a new furry friend, look no further! Help give these cuties a home.
