Festa Annimali Returns To Ta’ Qali For A Day Full Of Fun, Awareness And Furry Friends

Animal lovers, save the date. On Saturday 4th October, the annual Festa Annimali returns to Oak Tree Circle at Ta’ Qali National Park from 10:30AM to 4PM, bringing with it a full day dedicated to celebrating animals and raising awareness about their care and protection.

The event promises a packed programme of activities and entertainment for all ages, making it the perfect family day out. Visitors can expect:

  • Exhibitors showcasing pet food, treats, toys and accessories

  • Animal NGOs sharing valuable information about care, protection and adoption

  • A free kids’ zone with arts and crafts, games, face painting and reading sessions

  • Opportunities to meet live animals including horses, reptiles, rabbits and dogs

  • Live demonstrations and dog shows open to all breeds, with proceeds going to animal sanctuaries (registrations will be taken on the day)

  • Informative talks on animal rights and welfare

  • Live performances by top Maltese artists

  • A variety of food and drink stalls throughout the day

Organised by the Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights together with the Parliamentary Secretariat for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Animal Rights, Festa Annimali is more than just an event, it’s a celebration of the bond between humans and animals and a call to action for a more compassionate future.
