Furry Felines Frolic At Malta-Hosted Global Cat Competition
Last weekend, Malta hosted the World Cat Federation’s show, which assembled close to 100 felines and showcased four rare breeds.
Saturday’s winner was none other than the renowned World Champion, triple master cat called Aristopoints Zar. The Himalayan Persian’s adorably grumpy-looking face and fluffy, white coat stole the show.
This was not Aristopoint Zar’s first rodeo as his owner, Alison Zammit, has taken her furry friend to many global competitions. In fact, the cat earned a world champion title in Switzerland earlier this year after beating off stiff international competition.
The Persian also won the second place award for Best Adult Cat in the World, as well as the fourth Best Overall Cat in the World award.
Sunday’s competition crowned Hungarian national, Agnes Szobosziai’s Cornish Rex, called Made in Romania Black to Black. This breed of felines only have the lower most layer of hair, known as the undercoat.
