We recently gave you the news of a Maltese woman bringing 12 new handmade cat shelters into Ta’ Qali’s cat village. The woman, Sherry Ann Demicoli, raised concerns that they’d be removed due to her not having official permission from the local council.

”We saw the house and the Council thinks that it is a beautiful, positive idea,” representatives told Lovin Malta.

They further commented that even if there were legal complications, it would not be in their jurisdiction, but the Ta’ Qali National Park department’s.

Well, it looks like the houses should be here to stay. Hooray for cats and cat lovers alike!
