Joseph Muscat’s Dog Gets Into The Halloween Spirit And Goes Trick Or Treating
Halloween is fast becoming a staple of Maltese culture, with more and more towns getting in on the act to provide a spooky but fun experience to children.
And this year, there was a new trick or treater in town – Prime Minister Joseph Muscat’s new chow chow Ħabiba! A picture uploaded on the dog’s own Instagram page (yes, she has one) shows the fluffy dog patiently waiting in line behind other trick or treaters, no doubt hoping the person behind the door would be generous enough to toss a few biscuits her way.
Halloween in Malta is most traditionally celebrated in Swieqi and Pembroke, but it has also spread to other towns, including Valletta, Naxxar and Marsaskala.
