Onlooker Finds Seemingly Suffocated Bird In Sliema

A yellow bird was found dead in a plastic bag in Sliema, with passersby worrying that it was intentionally suffocated.
‘I am horrified. It looks like this beautiful yellow bird has been suffocated,” a woman told Lovin Malta.
The woman said that she saw the bird yesterday close to a popular establishment in Tower Road in Sliema at 12.45pm.

The passer-by told Lovin Malta that they reported the incident to MSPCA and BirdLife Malta.
Lovin Malta reached out to Animal Welfare Malta, MSPCA and BirdLife Malta for a comment on this incident.
