Six More: Only Three Dogs From Birkirkara Nightmare House Left To Be Found

Six of the remaining nine dogs which had yet to be found and confiscated after investigations on a Birkirkara house have been recovered.

Two weeks ago, inspections on the house revealed a number of worrying irregularities, identifying 29 small dogs in various levels of poor conditions.
A raid by Animal Welfare officials and officers within the Malta Police Force’s Environmental Protection Unit two days ago found 20 of the dogs, but could not locate the other nine. At the time, it was believed that some of the missing dogs could have already gone to third parties.

Earlier today, however, Lovin Malta was informed that six of the nine missing dogs had been located and passed onto Animal Welfare, who have been working around the clock to not only provide any urgent medical care that the other dogs required, but to also kickstart their long but beautiful journey of transformation.

In fact, a photo shared to this newsroom shows how one particular dog had already gone through one such transformation in the last 48 hours.
