Overwhelming support continues to pour in following the theft of the Malta Polo Club ponies, Chili and Lucho, with EquestriMalta jumping in to also offer a helping hand.

In a Facebook post shared by the Club, it informed that EquestriMalta Chairman John Huber contacted Matthew Borg, the President of the Club, to offer support in these trying times.

The ponies were stolen from their paddock in the Malta Equidrome, Thursday night, prompting the club to issue a plea for help and a €1,000 reward.

“The ponies are integral part of the club’s academy and are essential for the continued education and training to the younger members,” the post read, “The two entities shall be meeting early next week to remedy the situation in the shortest time possible.”

Huber and Borg are set to meet sometime in the coming week, to discuss plans moving forward. In the meantime, everyone is still hoping that the ponies are either found or returned to their homes.
