Update: Snoops The Fox Terrier Who Was Shot And Manhandled By Animal Welfare Officials Is “Nearly Healed”
In a heartening update on Snoops, the fox terrier that captured public attention after being shot and distressingly handled by Animal Welfare officials, the Association for Abandoned Animals (AAA) has shared encouraging news about his recovery.
Despite the challenges he faced, Snoops has shown remarkable resilience, healing well from the injuries inflicted upon him over ten days ago.
According to the AAA, although Snoops was manhandled by Animal Welfare officials using a catch pole right after he was shot, Animal Welfare vet did a “good job” treating the dog, as the association revealed through a Facebook post that the canine “has healed very well”.

“Please note that he was shot over 10 days ago and unlike, the animal welfare officers that dragged him and unlike the management of animal welfare that had the video much more before us but tried to hush the whole story down, their vet made a good job,” AAA wrote.
“You can still feel and see the wounds caused by the lead pellets were they penetrated his body,” they continued, adding that “Snoops is still a bit scared and a bit traumatized from all his ordeal, but he is such a lovely dog.”
