Watch: Confused Pig Found Roaming Mosta Road In The Rain
Update: In comments given to Lovin Malta this morning, Arnold Sciberras confirmed the poor pig was “returned home to his respective owner”, with him and the police thanking the naturalist for his work last night.
A heartbreaking video uploaded yesterday evening saw a confused, seemingly neglected pig roaming the busy streets of Mosta in the rain.
“This post is to rescue this pig,” Maltese naturalist Arnold Sciberras wrote on Facebook sharing three videos of the ordeal. “It was found in the main road in Mosta, and it was going to be hit by several cars, so I jumped in the middle of the rain and tried to guide this pig on the side to avoid an accident.”
The short clips show just how lost and scared the pig appeared, with Sciberras going on to say it definitely needed grooming and proper care.

“In the meantime, I called several entities, such as the police and others, to no avail,” Sciberras continued. “This is an appeal to save this pig, because it could not be held down.”
Going to explain where he managed to lead the pig to for safety, the popular naturalist offered his assistance to anyone who might need more information or help with the poor pig.
