Watch: Pets Not Allowed Inside Gozo Ferry Amid Scorching Heatwave
Pets are not allowed in the AC’d lounge, cafeteria or lobby areas of the Gozo Ferry, leading to infuriated owners and their boiling fur babies venting on social media.
“In this heatwave, I was asked to leave the lounge area with the AC while my dog was having a heat stroke, because dogs are not allowed there,” an upset dog owner wrote on Facebook, sharing footage of his pet.
The Gozo Channel website reads that pets are not allowed in “lounge/cafeteria/lobby areas” nor on counters, seats or benches.
This resulted in a distressing situation for a dog and his owner who was already suffering the effects of a heatwave and was told to leave the AC’d areas of the ferry.
“Gozo Channel you should be ashamed if you even know how to,” the owner wrote.
“Dogs are allowed only in parts with no AC on the ferry and on the outside (40°C).”
