Watch: Tempest the Goat Steals The Spotlight At Ħamrun Feast Celebrations

A goat named Tempest was seen at the Ħamrun feast celebrations, along with its owner, Christian, who always stayed close by.
After videos of the goat started circulating social media, many people condemned Christian for animal cruelty, including Arnold’s Citizen Watch who first posted a statement appealing to the public to enjoy our local feasts without being cruel to animals.
Christian took to Facebook to respond to the allegations of animal cruelty saying that Tempest was not treated cruelly and that he would never hurt her, as can be said by all the people that know him from the feast.
Tempest’s owner went on to say that she always had food and drink during the duration of the feast. Christian also condemned everyone who treats animals poorly and said that he has no part in such behaviour.

Since both statements were posted, Arnold’s Citizen Watch issued a public apology on its Facebook page to Christian saying “From the many comments on the published post, it is obvious that this goat is treated with much love and respect. I therefore apologise to the owner if I gave the impression that the goat is not treated well.”
One of the runner up’s for Love Island Malta Season 3, Michela Mallia, posted the footage to her feed yesterday when she spotted the little one in blue paint and visibly happy.
Tempest was seen making many friends from the crowd, with many people petting and transferring blue water colour to her coat and horns.
