Watch: Turtle Rescued After Getting Stuck In Pipe In Birżebbuġa Waters

A turtle was saved after it was seen struggling in the waters of Birzebbuga at 11am earlier today.

Footage shared by Clinto Paul shows the struggling turtle stuck in a pipe and it also had a fishing hook stuck in its mouth and leg according to Paul.

Civil Protection Malta officers are seen gently removing the turtle from the water and moving it away from the bay after removing the pipe from its mouth.

Well done to the officers for saving the turtle!
