Winston The Weasel Makes A Full Recovery Thanks To Xrobb L-Għaġin Rehab Centre
A weasel in desperate need of help was brought to Xrobb L-Għaġin Nature Park and Wildlife Rehab Centre after suffering serious injuries on 4th August.
The weasel was in dire need of rehabilitation after having suffered bites and other injuries. In a heartwarming video shared on Facebook, the team at the Rehabilitation Centre show the weasel, who was later named Winston, making a steady recovery through the weeks.
Rehab volunteers, namely, Angelique Chircop and vet Dr. Victoria Bondin, as credited in the video’s description, aided in the weasel’s healing journey
Through medical aid, nutritious food and snuggles, Winston made a complete recovery and was ready to venture back into the wilderness. In the video, Winston gleefully prances across a field and over the horizon into some bushes, on to more weasel-ey adventures.
