Top Build Awards: Vote For Malta’s Best Supplier Now

How many electrical ports does one need? Shall we put gypsum throughout the place? Are these the tiles that everyone complains about? Will this wallpaper be outdated sooner than we think? Is that water heater going outside?
Seriously, how much copper does one air conditioner need?
So many questions, so many decisions. Some decide to do themselves a favour and choose to work with interior designers.
Just imagine – you tell them your ideal colours, your requirements and preferred tastes and voila – they give you renders that make your room complete.
Now, once you pick that perfect kitchen, a whole new world of stresses erupts.
Delivery dates are postponed, the colour is not what you ordered and that left corner cupboard is damaged. Indeed, we have all heard of these stories.
One designer in Malta has seen countless clients and has decide to raise the bar for Malta’s suppliers. Yep you read that right. Suppliers.
Jade Boye and her team are organising the very first Top Build Awards.
While some suppliers are epic, and others get a passing grade – some have no idea what clients expect or how to manage expectations.
“After several experiences with my clients passing through terrible time frames, non-existent after-sale service and simply suppliers not doing what they were set out to do, I feel it is time to raise the bar, to applaud the suppliers who invest in ensuring they have satisfied customers and maybe show others how it’s done,” Jade Boye said.
Enter the launch of the Top Build Awards.
These awards are to identify and acknowledge the best home decor suppliers on the island.
This will help future customers make better choices, but it will also raise the standard in Malta by motivating suppliers to improve.
“When we speak with customers, it is clear that while they are happy about a lot of things when buying a new kitchen or bathroom, when getting new floors or new wallpaper, there is very often something they are unhappy about, something the suppliers could have done better,” Boye continued.
