The Puttinu Cares Foundation has been helping people since 2002. Organising events, offering a shoulder to lean on and most importantly, providing free accommodation to those in need, Puttinu has done some amazing things. 

With patients between four days and 89 years old, The Puttinu Cares Foundation offers help to anyone who needs it. This priceless support is only made possible through the dedication of the staff and volunteers and the generosity of public donations.

Puttinu Cares  provides places to stay with no strings attached. They give you the keys to one of their UK apartments and you stay as long you need, no questions asked.

One patient needed to undergo treatment in the UK for three years and used an apartment for the whole duration.

Treatment often requires multiple visits as well as follow ups and check ups once the cancer has been cured. Puttinu remains by your side for the whole journey. One patient needed to fly up to the UK a total of 200 times and Puttinu Cares made sure to have a home waiting for them each time. 

Helping hundreds of families with the 26 apartments they currently have, Puttinu wants to help a whole lot more. Raising funds to buy a brand new block of apartments will help Puttinu Cares house another 21 families who are going through tough times. 

Located 10 minutes walking distance from Great Ormond Street Hospital, families won’t need to worry about long commutes and can focus their energy on getting better. 

The last fundraiser for Puttinu Cares took place in 2019 and after a three-year-long hiatus, they need your help.

The telethon will run between 10am and midnight on all local stations with a break between 15:00 – 21:00.
