Rabbits, Bananas and The Nationalist Party: Law Graduates’ Buscade Banners Turn Heads Again
Political scandals filter through any kind of media platform in Malta, but we’ve got to admit; law buscades are really owning the satirical political space.
Law graduates kept their up game with political slander and stir the pot by bringing up some of the most embarrassing stories in Maltese politics of 2018.
They mention the ever-growing list of dodgy establishments with PL names attributed to them and doctors, but this year’s buscade is really a parody of the Nationalist Party.
1. Medicine Students
The law graduates want to make it clear: they’re better than the med students.
The future doctors say that law students ħa jibqgħu bil-banana (they’re not going to find a job).
But the law students aren’t having it. They kindly inform us all that a doctor will check you and your banana (um, weenie) but lawyers will be the ones to save you from fights that happen in Havana. They’re the clear winners.
2. The Nationalist Party
These law graduates turned political consultants got a couple of things to say to the Nationalist party that’s full of ċwieċ (fools) who keep on making the same mistakes.
3. The Nationalist Party (again)
The law graduates have decided to kickstart their career by making enemies in the Nationalist Party, as they dedicate a second banner to the failure of the party with no clear direction.
4. Police Commissioner and the General Attorney
A hidden report, an FIAU that doesn’t function and a bunny; these are a few of our favourite things when it comes to bringing up the Attorney General and our rabbit-loving Commissioner.
5. The Labour Party and the Nationalist Party (once more)
You can’t get Chris Cardona, Konrad Mizzi and Joseph Muscat on a banner together without talking about prostitution and political corruption scandals.
Referring to the time that Busuttil allegedly showed up to Court with boxes of files with no actual files in them, these law graduates can’t help but take a dig at PN.
