12-Year-Old Triathlete Set To Cycle 100 KM Around Malta On Carnival In Aid Of Puttinu Cares
12-year-old Neil Cassar has committed himself to an exhausting challenge of cycling 100 kilometres around Malta on carnival and in aid of beloved charity Puttinu Cares.
“I am a 12-year-old boy with a cycling passion and on the 13th February Carnival day, I will be cycling 100 km around Malta in aid of Puttinu Cares,” a post announcing this impressive feat reads.
The cycle will commence at 7am when he’ll leave Msida Church and cycle back there 100 kilometres later.
“Help me raise money for such a good cause,” he urged.
“His power-to-body weight ratio is way above average! Once he locks behind your wheel, he will never drop behind, no matter if you’re at top speed!” Spiteri wrote of the rising star.
“Cycling ride with one of the most promising kids in triathlon and cycling, Neil Cassar also known as il-molla,” he said in another post.
