Eight-year-old Maltese national Zack Spiteri Stellini was chosen as a mascot for Lazio’s game against Juventus last weekend.

Zack, a massive Lazio fan who plays for Pieta’ Hotspurs, was chosen by the Lazio Club Malta 2022 as a mascot for the Rome club’s big game at the Stadia Olimpico on Saturday.

He got to stand in front of Lazio centre-back Nicolò Casale and meet some major players, including striker Ciro Immobile, who came on as a substitute.

And it turned out to be a great day for Lazio too, with Adam Marušić grabbing an injury-time winner to keep them in the hunt for European football next season.

He is the fourth Maltese child who was chosen as a mascot by Lazio Club Malta 2022 this season. Luca Zammit was a mascot in Lazio’s Champions League game against Atletico Madrid, Pedro Agius during the Rome Derby against Roma, and Emerson Vella in Lazio’s game against Celtic.
