All Of Malta’s Players Were Rated Higher Than England, Despite Game Outcome
All of Malta’s football players were rated higher than those of England with local player Jodi Jones being named man of the match.
This comes despite the actual game outcome wherein the latter team beat the island 2-0 in the UEFA Euro Qualifiers on Friday.
The ratings were decided by BBC Sport Reader.

Meanwhile, Manager Gareth Southgate said his England side is “not where we need to be” after – but refused to criticise the players because of the gruelling schedule.
Similarly, BBC Sport wrote that Southgate’s team produced an “underwhelming” performance.
Enrico Pepe and Harry Kane both scored the goals that resulted in the team’s win, in the eighth and 75th minutes respectively.
