Team Gozo Women have wrapped up an unforgettable journey at the Orkney 2025 Island Games, finishing 4th out of 11 teams after a tough 3–0 loss to the Western Isles in the match.
This was a history-making tournament for Gozo, as it marked the first time ever a Gozitan women’s football team competed in the Island Games, and they made it count with an incredible top-four finish. 👏
Their semi-final qualification earlier last week marked a massive achievement for the squad, who showed grit, unity, and serious football talent on the international stage. 🇲🇹💪
