The highly-anticipated Fight Island Season Two kicked off yesterday evening with a lineup of professional boxers and up-and-comers alike.

The day started off strong with the first match of the night going by pretty quickly as Dyson Schembri delivered a staggering knockout against his opponent John Reilly in the first 50 seconds of the round, ultimately emerging the victor.

People were on the edge of their seat for one of the most anticipated fights of the night, that being the one between Bulletproof Culture co-founder Scott “Flakey” Schembri and Igor Korovin. Flakey secured the W after going on the offensive against his opponent.

However, the fights proceeded out of the ring as well, as at one point, spectators noticed a brawl had erupted within the audience. In footage captured by a spectator, punches as well as chairs can be seen being thrown, shortly before the conflict was deescalated by staff members.

The intensity continued within the ring with the valiant battle between the Scotsman and the Welshman. Scott Dixon led an impressive fight against Kearon Thomas which ultimately resulted in a satisfying victory for Dixon via knockout.

A similar K.O by Maltese boxer Haithem Laamouz against his Irish opponent Paul Johnson was met by an eruption of cheers from crowd who stood in awe at the local boxer’s performance.

The night ended with an intense 10-round bout between Steve Martin and Lydon Beqqu, two local seasoned boxers. The fight would determine whether Steve would defend his crown as Fight Island Champion and continue reigning supreme.

As it turned out, Super Steve Martin managed to put up an admirable fight and retained his title as King of the Island.

Congratulations to all the competitors!
