A new chapter begins for Maltese racket sports!

The Malta Tennis Federation has officially rebranded as the Malta Tennis and Padel Federation (MTPF), reflecting the rapid growth of padel and the federation’s commitment to supporting both sports.

With the rebrand comes a fresh identity and three new logos, each representing a different facet of the federation:

  • MTPF Corporate Logo: A unifying symbol for both tennis and padel under one federation.
  • Tennis Malta Logo: Honouring the legacy and future of tennis in Malta.
  • Padel Malta Logo: Highlighting the surge in popularity of padel and its bright future locally.

The decision to rebrand followed the election of a new executive committee in January 2024, which immediately recognised the need for a modern and dynamic image.

The committee worked with marketing experts to develop a brand that captures the energy and passion of both sports.

“This rebranding is more than just a new look,” said MTPF President Dr. Marc Gingell Littlejohn. “It symbolises our commitment to broadening participation, nurturing emerging talent, and celebrating both tennis and padel at every level.”

The MTPF is already rolling out plans for new tournaments, training camps, and community outreach programmes to further grow both sports in Malta.

“With this new identity, we’re ready to inspire a new generation of players,” added MTPF Deputy President Simon Fiorini Lowell.

“We look forward to working with athletes, coaches, clubs, and sponsors to keep pushing these sports forward.”
