Malta’s own Lexine Farrugia, the former Birkirkara and Raiders Lija sensation, has been making waves in the Italian U-19 league while playing for Sampdoria U-19.

Since her summer transfer to the Blucerchiati, Farrugia has been nothing short of sensational, scoring consistently in her debut season.

In a brilliant display of skill and prowess, Farrugia recently netted two remarkable goals in a dramatic four-all draw against league frontrunners Roma. This performance in the Italian capital marks her fifth consecutive game securing goals for her team.

Farrugia’s goal-scoring journey started in November and has seen her score against some of the league’s biggest names. Her tally includes double strikes against Hellas Verona and now Roma, as well as impressive goals against Juventus, Inter, and San Marino.

With her eye for goal and consistent performances, Lexine Farrugia is undoubtedly a player to watch in the Italian U-19 league.
