Malta’s Waterpolo Team Beats Slovenia Winning SportMalta Christmas Cup
The Maltese men’s national water polo team won the Christmas international tournament organised by SportMalta at the Cottonera Swimming Pool in Bormla.
In their final match of the tournament this morning, the Maltese team defeated Slovenia with a score of 13-10.
The tournament spanned three days, with the Maltese team starting their campaign with a loss in a penalty shootout against Portugal, ending 18-17.
In their second match, Malta defeated Slovakia with a score of 19-14. Today, Malta took home the overall win after its victory against Slovenia.
