Maltese Officer Nabs Silver Medal At World Police And Fire Games In China
PC Andrew Grech has just won a silver medal at the World Police and Fire Games in Chengdu, China – awesome!
This makes PC Grech the first Maltese to participate in the World Police & Fire Games, where he was facing some of the best law and fire service personnel from around the world.
He participated in the Half Marathon category this morning where he ended up winning a silver medal in his division after pushing himself against some tough competition.
PC Grech finished with a time of 01:13:45, less than a minute behind gold medalist Emelianov Sergei from the UMVD Ulyanovsk in Russia.
Well done to PC Grech for his personal achievement and for representing Malta at such a prestigious event!
