Maltese Officer To Compete At World Police And Fire Games In China Later This Month
PC Andrew Grech will be the first Maltese to participate in the World Police & Fire Games in Chengdu, China on the 9th of August.
When not policing the streets of Malta, PC Andrew Grech can be seen running them. Last month, he participated and won the 24km Baroque Race, finishing six minutes ahead of the next athlete.
Now he’ll face some of the best law and fire service personnel from around the world thanks to the sports leave scheme for public officers and the assistance of Mr Reno Calleja from the Malta-China Friendship Society.
PC Grech will be participating in the half marathon race on the 9th of August, starting and finishing at the entrance of Qingchengshan Road, Dujiangyan, Chengdu.
